Repairs team pick up a national award for their customer care

Our Repairs Team has been recognised at the Housing Heroes Awards in Manchester.

The nationwide awards, which are jointly organised by Inside Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing celebrate the unsung heroes of the housing world with categories for everything from frontline teams to campaigning tenants.

Peaks & Plains walked away with the award for Development or Maintenance Team of the Year (under 15,000 homes)

The team was selected for its commitment to improving customer experience and for the key role it played in making the Trust’s online repairs booking system such a success.

The repairs team played a huge part in designing and developing our online repairs booking system. They know first what our customers want and need. We couldn’t have done it without them. I’m extremely proud that their vision, skill and commitment have been recognised by this award.
