As part of Macc Pride, a fantastic organisation that celebrate our LGBT community across Macclesfield during Pride month and throughout the year, we volunteered to host the Art & Photography Exhibit in our town centre offices, Ropewalks.
A diverse array of artists made our offices a home for their artwork for a whole week, which anyone could come and visit from Monday to Saturday. Art ranged from oil paintings to stickers and badges, alongside photographs of key LGBTQ+ members of our community like the former mayor of Macclesfield.
The event was a success with a significant number of visitors every day. We're looking forward to working alongside Macc Pride again next year and making sure that LGBTQ+ members of our community feel supported.
