Our Jubilee celebrations

Last week we visited some of our customers with tea, scones and an opportunity to chat about their tenancy.

Our staff volunteered to wait on our customers at Harry Lawson Court, Shrigley Court, Ryles House, Chapel Court and Holmfield with tea, coffee and - of course - scones.

We decorated communal areas with bunting and table clothes, although the commitment of residents Harry Lawson Court was particularly impressive. They had already spruced up their lounge with balloons, flags and even a cardboard cutout of the queen.

We also used this as an opportunity to talk to our customers about any problems they might be having with where they live. This meant that if our customers had questions or queries about their tenancy, they had a chance to talk to us in-person.

We're currently working through what our customers told us and will have updates for them soon.

These events weren't just about the Jubilee - even though we were excited to celebrate this with our customers. This was also about making sure we're hearing your opinions - including, on this big occasion, whether you pronounce it 'scon' or 'scone'!
