Peaks & Plains completes Ivy Road development in Macclesfield

Peaks & Plains Housing Trust has completed its new Ivy Road development in Macclesfield, with customers set to begin moving into their new homes from this month until the end of April 2026.

The development has transformed the former Ivy House site and neighbouring bungalows on Ivy Road and Countess Road, delivering 29 high-quality affordable homes for the local community.

The new homes include a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, including houses, flats and bungalows. Of the 29 homes, 16 are available for social rent and 13 through Shared Ownership, helping to meet a range of local housing needs and supporting more people to access affordable housing.

The homes have been built with a focus on quality, comfort and energy efficiency, helping residents benefit from modern, sustainable living while reducing energy costs.

We’re delighted to see the completion of our Ivy Road development and to be welcoming customers into their new homes. Developments like this are a key part of our commitment to providing high-quality, affordable homes and investing in the communities we serve. We’re proud that these new homes will give more people in Macclesfield the opportunity to live in a safe, comfortable and energy-efficient home
