Here are some answers to common questions for anyone whose income has been, or might, be affected by coronavirus.

You might have seen our vans out and about on the roads that's because our teams are working hard to keep you safe in your homes.

We are still doing emergency visits.

We’re really sorry, but if you have non-essential repairs booked in we will be contacting you shortly to cancel your appointment.

Asking you a few more questions

If you are contacting us to report an emergency repair we will be taking additional precautions to keep you and our staff safe.
So don’t be surprised if you are asked a few more questions on the phone or at your front door. We are doing this to help keep everyone safe, so we hope you understand. Any information you provide will be kept confidential.
Here is an example of a question you might be asked,

Just before I visit, can I confirm if there is anyone in the property who may have been exposed to the Coronavirus, currently self-isolating or showing any symptoms to the virus?

If the answer to this question is yes then we will need to take measures to keep our customers and staff safe or to re-arrange.

Servicing and safety checks

We will be continuing to carry out the servicing to ensure all our properties are safe. This will include things like:

  • Electrical tests
  • Gas servicing
  • Water safety testing
  • Fire safety assessments, servicing and testing
  • Asbestos risk assessments
  • Testing and servicing of passenger and domestic lifts

Kitchens and bathrooms

If we are part way through doing up your kitchen or bathroom we will finish the work.

If we haven’t started on yours yet we will need to postpone the work until further notice.

Supporting you

The situation is being closely monitored by the Trust and we will continually review our plans so that we can provide you with essential services.
We take our lead from the NHS guidance, Public Health England and the Government.
