Changes to your payment dates over Christmas – and help with budgeting

No matter how you pay, this Christmas and New Year some payment dates will have changed due the Bank Holidays. Maybe you've been paid early by your employer. Perhaps your Universal Credit has come through sooner than expected.

How do you pay and what do you need to do?

Receive Universal Credit?

  • You could be paid 4 days earlier than normal (because of the Bank Holidays). Use My Account or our automated payment line to pay.

Been paid early?

  • Be aware that you don’t have to wait for your normal payment date. Pay your rent straight away for peace of mind.

Do you pay by Direct Debit?

  • Be aware, your payment dates might also change due to the Bank Holidays.

Direct Debit - dates to know about

December 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th .

If your Direct Debit payment is due on these dates your rent will be collected on 28th December.

January 1st, 2nd and 3rd

If your Direct Debit payment is due on these dates your rent will be collected on the 3rd January.

Pay your rent 24/7 by calling 0800 012 1311.

You'll be given several options and asked to follow the simple instructions. All you need is your tenancy reference number and a valid debit or credit card.
