Our big Autumn Clean-up!

- Thursday 3rd September, 10am-2pm.
So, what's happening?
There will be three skips located around:
- Jodrell Street, Macclesfield.
- Bank Street, Macclesfield.
For our Big Autumn Clean-up!
Think litter picking, skips and staff out and about keeping the area clean.
Having a clear-out? Something you've been meaning to get rid of? You can bring it to one of the several skips we will have located around the estate.
But don't worry if you can't make it to a skip, you can let us know and we will help.
What can and can't go in the skips?
These things can go in the skip:
Most types of household and commercial waste, including;
- Paper
- Wood
- Plastic
- Metal
- Fabric
- Brick
- Rubble
- Soil
These things can't go in the skip:
Waste that is harmful or hazardous cannot go in the skip. This includes (but not limited to);
- Asbestos
- Clinical waste/needles
- Fridges/freezers - and other electrical appliances
- Mattresses
- Tyres
- Oil
- Gas bottles
- Poisonous or polluting substances
- Fire
Where will the skips be?
You will find the skips located on each Estate.
One week before the event - we will update you on the exact locations.
