Vacancy: Join our Board

Use your skills to help steer the direction of the Trust.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Board. We need someone who shares our values, has an interest in social housing and who has a good understanding of IT, data management and data governance to complement the skills, knowledge and experience of our other Board members.

Fees: circa £5379 pa 

Experience and background

  • We don’t require previous Board experience – training and support will be provided, but you must have some understanding of the role of Boards and Board members.

  • We welcome applicants with the appropriate skills and experience from all ages and backgrounds. We are an inclusive organisation and embrace diversity and we want our Board members to reflect that.

  • Our Board members come from all walks of life; you may have picked up your experience from the private or not-for-profit sectors.

About the Trust

We are an ambitious housing association, based in Macclesfield and working mainly across Cheshire East and the High Peak local authority areas in which we own and manage over 5,000 properties.

We are committed to improving the lives of both our residents and those in the communities in which we operate, investing in town centre regeneration as well as new homes. We have a workforce of nearly 200 staff and our annual turnover last year was just under £31.5m.
