The Executive Team

Our executive team are responsible to the Board for day-to-day and operational management of the Trust, our performance, and making sure we achieve our full potential.

Tim Pinder | Chief Executive

Tim joined the Trust from Calico Housing, a Burnley based housing organisation set up through transfer, where he was the Chief Executive.

Tim's career in social housing spans more than 20 years. He has a long record of achievement, including the establishment and leadership of Ashton Pioneer Homes, a housing organisation set up through transfer in Tameside.

His career has included spells with the Guinness Trust and Home Group in the North West as well as local authorities in the North East.

Mark Howden | Deputy Chief Executive | Director of Place

Mark joined the Trust in May 2019 from Balfour Beatty where he was head of development. He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in urban regeneration and economic development, both public and private, working across a variety of sectors including residential development, student accommodation, education, health and infrastructure.

His role focuses on our plans for regeneration and building new homes and communities.

Mark’s experience will be particularly valuable as we realise our Five Year Plan, which is geared towards improving lives by investing and enhancing existing homes, building more homes across tenures and creating great places to live.


Julie Booker | Director of Resources

Julie joined the Trust in June 2019 from Wythenshawe Community Housing Group where she was Assistant Director of Finance.

She is a FCCA qualified accountant and has worked in finance for over 20 years working in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. In 2011, Julie made her move over to the social housing sector.

In her new role she will be responsible for the Trust's Finance, ICT, Governance and Procurement teams.


Jamie Hutchinson | Director of Customers

Jamie has a wealth of experience in delivering excellent customers services.

His role on our Executive Team puts our tenants and their wellbeing at the heart of all we do.

He is responsible for our customer-facing teams including our repairs service, customer experience and wellbeing.

Before arriving at the Trust, Jamie worked in a range of roles in industries such as hotels, pubs, restaurants, gyms and children’s nurseries.

His career has included companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Royal Mail, Spirit Pub Company, YHA, David Austin Roses and Treetops Nurseries.
