A visit from the Easter bunny 🐰

Thanks to the donations of our generous suppliers below, we've been celebrating the arrival of Spring by packing and delivering Easter treats to members of our community.

After a difficult winter (and a difficult year!), it's important to reach out to those who may have particularly struggled.

Our staff volunteered to buy, pack and deliver Easter treats to members of our community. We're incredibly grateful for the generous donations of our suppliers which have made this event possible.

Emma Richman, Director of Operations at Peaks & Plains, said:

Even though there are signs of spring appearing all around us, I know it's been a very difficult year and a long and hard winter for many people.

So, we're delighted to support our community with a small token that shows we're here and we can always signpost you to the support that you might need.

Rowlinson generously donated to 100 Easter eggs and they told us that:

Many people are going through some tough times right now. The Rowlinson team is pleased to help spread a bit of happiness by donating a selection of Easter eggs for the Peaks & Plains Easter event. It's the little things that can sometimes make a big difference and it's a great effort from everyone involved

We are likewise grateful to Novus Property Solutions, who donated £100 towards our initiative. They said that:

Novus are delighted to be able to support such a great initiative and we thank Peaks and Plains Housing for reaching out to us. We hope our donation helps to create some happiness amongst those who really need it this Easter

JFN Integrated Solutions kindly donated a £200 voucher towards this initiative. They told us that:

JFN are always happy to help our customers with Social Value initiatives and the Easter Egg appeal is no different. We hope many Children (and adults alike) enjoy their Eggs and have a lovely Easter

Meanwhile, Connolly's LTD donated 200 Easter eggs. They reported that:

As part of our social value pledge to Cheshire Peaks & Plains, Connolly’s are delighted to support their Easter Egg Event. What a fantastic way to give a little something back to the isolated elderly residents and venerable families this Easter.

Moreover, Total Environmental Compliance commented that:

We are so happy to be able to donate to the Peaks and Plains Easter Egg Appeal. It has been a tough time for everyone over the last year, and we are glad to help spread some Easter happiness for the tenants

Idverde donated £100 towards this project and Nick Rimmer, Operations Manager, said that:

We were delighted to support to the Peaks and Plains Easter Egg Drop. Despite being classed as a key worker, even the Easter Bunny needed some extra help this year, and we were happy to lend our support so that local children are able to enjoy an Easter treat.

We're also grateful to: Sure Maintenance, who donated a £100 Sainsburys voucher; RegalCare Shower Tray, who donated £100; Dodd Group, who donated £100; Bell Group, who donated £100; MSB Solicitors, who donated 104 eggs; Phoenix EcoEnergy, who donated 50 eggs; Penningtons, who donated £500; CPC Project Services donated £300; CSG, who donated 30 eggs; Concept Elevators and CLC

We want to issue a big thank you to all our suppliers and volunteers for their time and their donations – it’s wonderful to see our community come together to support its members after such a challenging year.
