Award for our homes in Hurdsfield, Macclesfield

Peaks & Plains has been recognised by the Macclesfield Civic Society for the design and build of six homes in Hurdsfield, Macclesfield.

We are delighted to have been recognised this week for our new affordable homes in Hurdsfield.

The awards, which are organised by the Macclesfield Civic Society, recognise thoughtful and innovative design that adds to the town in some way.

Chief Executive, Mark Howden and Development Manager Dan Brocklehurst went along to accept the award on behalf of the Trust.

We built these six new affordable homes for rent on the former Hurdsfield Community Centre site, which had been a dangerous, derelict eyesore for around ten years. We saw the potential for the site and we're delighted with the outcome.

We worked closely with the architect, Bowker Sadler, to make sure that we put well-designed and easy-to-run homes back on this site.
