People's Equality Forum on 22 Feb
Please note that the next People’s Equality Forum is scheduled to be held on Wednesday 22 February 2017.
We've got some really exciting new wellbeing services to showcase. We really hope you can join us.
You'll find out about a new support service called ‘One You Cheshire East’. They will be attending the meeting to discuss the range of services they offer.
One You Cheshire East is part of a national health initiative supported by Cheshire East Council, along with Peaks & Plains and Age UK Cheshire East.
Together, they are committed to helping make it as easy as possible for local people to live better, healthier and longer. If you need help stopping smoking, losing weight, learning how to cook healthy meals, being more active or drinking less then their services may be able to help you!
At the meeting we will also find out about Talking Therapies which is a new free and confidential mental health support service that will work with you to help you feel better.
Talking Therapies offer expert support from people who can help with mental health and wellbeing support, delivering these services within community settings. The service is delivered by Peaks & Plains in partnership with The Big Life group and Age UK Cheshire East.
If you would like to attend or would like your name adding to the mailing list to be invited to future meetings - please email firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a direct message, places are limited so please get in touch.
(The People's Equality Forum was previously known as the Disability Forum.)
